Areola reconstruction - Medical tattooing

After breast surgery this lady had scars outside of the areola and the left areola scar healed different so I tried to match with the other side and also camouflaging the scars underneath the areola with skin tone pigments. Final results will show after 2-3 treatments. Will update the photos.

This shows the procedure of scar tattooing with skin tone pigments underneath the areola and a bit of areola reconstructing to match with the areola on the other side. In the middle picture I left the pigment on the scar to show the skin tone pigment. It is normal to look like bruised straight after the treatment. Pigments will settle in during the healing time and then I can treat again.
This treatment will come soon.
Meanwhile, I can still work on the surrounded scars with either dry needling or scar camouflage treatment.

What is
Areola reconstruction
Permanent makeup can be the final step back to normality after breast reconstruction or augmentation by using cosmetic tattooing to restore the appearance of the nipple and/or areola with amazing results.

If one (unilateral) breast has been reconstructed then the tattoo can match the various colors and shades from the nipple areola area of the existing breast, or they can both be tattooed to make them identical in color. This is particularly useful if the existing areola is very pale.
In the case of a bilateral breast reconstruction, tattooing is guided by images taken prior to surgery (if applicable). As with all tattoos, fading can occur over time and therefore further tattoo sessions are to be expected so that the ideal look is maintained. Even without a nipple reconstruction, each tattoo can still offer the look of a nipple areola area with a 3-D appearance.

Tattooing normally takes an hour each breast. 

Local anaesthetic cream (EMLA) is applied beforehand to ensure the skin is numb.
